My husband Michael was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma (an uncommon cancer affecting the lymphatic system) in November 2021. He’s recently completed four rounds of chemotherapy and is due to start radiotherapy. I want to support Cancer Research UK any way I can so that their work can help more people recover from more types of cancer.

With this in mind I am taking part in the Great North Swim in June to raise money, and would love to raise as much as possible for this worthwhile cause.
