This may come as a shock to some, but I LOVE a challenge, and I LOVE fundraising for local charities that provide exceptional work for all our families and friends in our communities!

St Joseph’s hospice provide palliative and end of life care for patients with life limiting conditions as well as offering support for their families and carers. They aim to provide a safe, welcoming place with a modern, professional clinical environment, which allows time and space for people with demanding and complex needs to be cared for at a crucial time of their life. 

The funding that they receive from the NHS does not cover the whole cost of the care that they provide. The hospice costs over £3m each year to run so the Thornton site also acts as the base for a major fundraising operation. 

St Joseph's Hospice have decided to launch their first ever Strictly event and we need your support!

With support from Marshside School of Dance, they are giving 12 contestants the opportunity to learn and perform a dance at the event… AND I AM ONE OF THEM! 

The event will be held on 25th September 2021, at the Titanic Hotel in Liverpool. The event includes a 4-course meal & entertainment as well as the Strictly show. Tickets are £50 and are on sale NOW! To purchase a ticket call 0151 932 6044 or email events@stjhospice.org.uk!
