Story
Thanks for visiting my page! I'm raising money for the British Heart Foundation's research and I'd be so grateful for your support.
On Saturday 8th July (Happy Birthday to me!) I will be taking on the Three Peaks Challenge. Covering 24 miles and 5,000 feet of climbing, I'll be faced with rocky terrain, steep climbs and uneven surfaces.
The first peak, Pen-y-Ghent (694m/2277ft), provides great views of the peaks to come. Walking towards Whernside (736m/2415ft), we'll be able to take in the grandeur of Ribblehead Viaduct and then we'll trek on to Ingleborough (723m 2372ft) for our final ascent.
The British Heart Foundation has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that this charity can create new treatments and discover new cures. £25 could pay for an hour of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target. Thank you!
