Story
Hello! Thank you for visiting my page. I’m supporting Sarcoma UK, a national charity that funds vital research, offers support for anyone affected by sarcoma cancer and campaigns for better treatments. Sarcoma is a type of cancer that develops in the bone and soft tissue. It is difficult diagnose and one of the hardest to treat.
In November 2019 during our third year of University, my dear friend Lily was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare and aggressive sarcoma leading to intense chemotherapy and radiotherapy. I think this year has been tough for us all but seeing the strength Lily has shown as she has isolated from her family and friends whilst undergoing treatment (and in the meantime making elderflower cordial for charity and still sending pasta deliveries to her friends!!) has changed my outlook on life forever and inspired me beyond words.
Any donations will be muchly appreciated and I would be very grateful if you could share the link to any friends and family that you think might be able to help. Your donation will help researchers find answers, keep our Support Line open, and raise awareness to improve treatment and standards of care.
Thank you :)
