On September 15th 2018, I will be hurling myself out of a plane to raise money for the wonderful charity Above & Beyond, who fundraise for Bristol city centre hospitals, supporting projects that improve patient care.

In the summer of 2014, my life was turned upside down when my mum was diagnosed with ovarian cancer.  Watching my mum deal with the horrific mental and physical side effects of cancer, has been a huge struggle for me and my family.

Having seen what cancer does to an adult, the thought of a child going through this is unthinkable.  No parent should ever have to see their child being given a deadly poison to help save their life.  Childhood is meant to be the best time in a person’s life.

With your help and support, the money I am hoping to raise will go towards the Bristol Children’s Hospital.  The money will be used to help fund a projector screen which will project lovely things onto the ceiling for children who are having operations under a local anaesthetic, hopefully making the whole experience just a little bit better.

Any donations, no matter how big or small, will be very much welcome.
