Story
Young people shouldn’t have to face cancer alone.
That is why we are making a difference.
Earlier this year, my little sister Tala was diagnosed with retinoblastoma, a type of cancer, and began chemotherapy at just six weeks old. Whilst she’s more than a decade out from becoming a teenager, her situation has highlighted the importance of charities like Teenage Cancer Trust in supporting both patients and their families. Having seen the amazing kindness and compassion present in Tala’s care, I want to give back to the community that supports young people through cancer.
Throughout this year, Medics’ Reveal is running fundraisers to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust (TCT), culminating in our annual big variety show, The Medics’ Reveal.
I am taking part in The Medics’ Reveal 2023 on Saturday the 1st of April. This will involve me dancing and stripping in front of a large audience in Edinburgh all in the name of charity!
Last year we made £26,000 and we are aiming to reach higher than that this year! Teenage Cancer Trust is a UK-wide charity that provides world-class cancer services for young people, including specialist cancer units, expert staff, and education in schools.

Any donations would be hugely appreciated!
Thank you,
Ellie and Tala x
