Story

I am very excited to announce that I will be running the TCS London Marathon 2024 in April. I will be running in aid of Alzheimer’s society.

I have chosen to run for Alzheimers Society because for the past 6 years my very special Nan, Shirley has been suffering from vascular dementia. Watching the personality of a person you love dearly completely change is very hard as they are still the person you know deep down. It would be great to think one day someone out there could find a cure for this awful disease.

Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.

I know it’s going to be tough for me physically and mentally but I am SO ready for this challenge.

I would appreciate any big or small donation to help raise money for such an amazing charity that helps and supports so many people.

Let’s go! 💙
