In a moment of foolishness, we have decided to run this year’s Royal Parks Half Marathon, and will be doing so to raise money for Marie Curie, whose nurses provide care and support to people with terminal illness.

I (Ellie) have never run anything like this far before, and so not only will Dave be running the half marathon, he is also signing up to act as my coach and emotional support, which is probably the greater task - so do keep that in mind when dipping into your pocket for to sponsor us both!!

Any contribution, big or small, is hugely appreciated. We’re very pleased to support Marie Curie - nurses are never paid enough for the amazing work they do, especially in such difficult and emotional circumstance as supporting those with terminal illness.
