We fund research to stop prostate cancer killing men

Story

Jacob and I (aka Team Jellie) will be running the Edinburgh Marathon in May 2022 in honour of my father, Simon Cooper, who passed away on 12th May 2021 after almost 8 years of battling prostate cancer.

Dad had the most incredible bravery, strength and unwavering positive energy. He lived an active life, running a marathon himself in his early twenties, and playing tennis, squash and racketball even when his health began to deteriorate. We ran and trained together, always keeping the competition alive. Many people describe him as inspirational and I am proud to be his daughter.

Even though he told us "a half-marathon is fine you two, but never do a marathon", we are determined to run the distance, like he did, to raise as much money as we can for Prostate Cancer UK in his memory. Please consider donating if you are able to.
