Hi Pals! We are both taking on the London Marathon this year to support ActionAid! ActionAid is an international charity that works with women and girls living in poverty. Their dedicated local staff are changing the world with women and girls. They are ending violence and fighting poverty so that all women, everywhere can create the future they want. 

One of us is very excited to the run the London Marathon and has dreamed of this for a while. The other of us has never dreamed of this other than in nightmares. But we both feel really passionate about the work of ActionAid. If we manage to raise £2,000 that would pay for the set up of three workers' cafes in Bangladesh. These cafes provide a safe space for marginalised female employees to learn about their rights to work.
