We have an incredible group of #WishHeroes who will be taking on the 2022 London Marathon. Together, we have the power to light up the darkness for critically ill children.

Story

If you've known me since I was young you'll know it's always been a dream of mine to run the London Marathon and this year I’ve been given the opportunity to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Charity who give children with life-threatening illnesses a day to remember. 💙

On the 23rd April I will be setting off bright and early to run my first ever marathon - not only to raise money for a deserving charity but to complete a long ambition of mine.

At the time of writing this story, 527 children are on the wish waiting list so please give whatever you can so we can make a dream come true for these children who've been fighting for so long and with life threatening illnesses. Even if its some spare change - because every little helps and together we can give more!

Make-A-Wish UK grant magical wishes to enrich the lives of children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions. Granting their wish provides seriously ill children with hope for the future, strength to cope and resilience to fight their condition. They’re given quality time away from the daily realities of living with their condition and given the chance to make magical memories they can treasure forever – whatever their future may hold.
