Mum, mike, Sophie and I have decided to run the Great North Run this year in memory of our Mum/Grandma who died last Christmas of cancer. 

She was fortunate enough to spend her last weeks in the Teesside Hospice where the staff cared for her, supported our family and made them feel completely at home. Even helping us put on a early christmas party in her room so we could celebrate together. Hospices are charity run and we wanted to show our thanks for all their care and help by doing the run and raising money for them. 

Also in memory of our Mum/Grandma to say Thank you for being there at the finish line of every Great North Run we have completed with our warm clothes and a 'well done.' We will never forget your endless support of us all.
