October is baby loss month where we remember all those baby’s who did not come home with mum and dad. Who may have been born sleeping or left soon after.

Over 20 years as a midwife each of those babies are carried with me. SANDS is a charity who supports parents after the loss of their baby and educates staff in offer ing support.

I am no athlete but every step counts and 26.2 miles full of steps will be walked run jogged basically moved for each of those babies
