Story
Alby was born prematurely at 27 weeks gestation. He required neonatal care in two different hospitals over 10 weeks and then we were supported by a neonatal outreach nurse for a further 10 weeks when he came home on oxygen. Thanks to the excellent care he received from the most incredible team of nurses and doctors, Alby is now 9 months old, happy and thriving. I am planning to walk 60 miles for Bliss in August so that we can give back and help other babies born premature or sick. Any donations will be very gratefully appreciated (as well as company for walks!)
Every 5 minutes, a baby is admitted to neonatal care in the UK.Bliss is the leading UK charity for babies born premature or sick. They rely on donations to fund their work, and without our help they won't be able to reach the 100,000 babies needing neonatal care each year.Your donation to my page will help Bliss to drive improvements in neonatal care, to ensure that the needs of babies are at the heart of policy and planning for the future, and to provide information and support to all families with a baby born premature or sick.
