Two years ago my very close friend was diagnosed with AML. She received a stem cell transplant in feb 2011 and we are hoping that this will ensure her complete recovery. She is still having good and bad days but her determination to see this through has never wavered. She is affectionally now referred to as ' gutsy lady'
