I’m running and raising money for The Christie in memory of my brother-in-law, Andy Clague, who died on the 27th of December.  Andy was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma in late 2015.  He spent the next two years showing us all how to face adversity with determination and a never-ending supply of sarcasm.  Andy was also very supportive* when I ran my very first 10k last year, offering advice** and providing me with lots of motivation***

** telling me where I was going wrong

*** being a monumental pain in the arse
