Ellen Rose's Easter 50 page

Easter 50 · 11 April 2020
At the age of 5 I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, a lifelong illness that means that my pancreas no longer wants to work so I have to provide my own insulin to break down the carbohydrate and sugars in food. Over the years it has meant countless blood sugar tests, injections, hospital trips and overnight stays. But thankfully with the help and support of my diabetes team and family; this hasn’t all been that bad.
I am taking part in a 31 mile walk to raise money for Diabetes UK so that other families are able to have the help and support I had.
Any donations, small or large would be appreciated 💙💙
