Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
This September I'm taking part in two half marathons within 3 weeks, the SimplyHealth Great North Run and the Robin Hood Half Marathon, raising money and awareness for The Architects Benevolent Society.
ABS is an organisation set up to support architecture students, architects, assistants, technologists, technicians, landscape architects - and their families – in times of need. They help people of all ages who have experienced illness, accident, redundancy, unemployment, bereavement or other personal difficulties.
Throughout 2019, the charity have been focusing on raising the profile of mental wellbeing in the architectural profession and its students through their #AnxietyArchCampaign. As a third year architecture student I have seen the negative impact the intense work rate and determination for perfection can have on mental wellbeing all too often, therefore want to raise awareness of the charities growing presence and fantastic work.
A donation of any size, or simply a share of the link to spread awareness would be super appreciated! Thank you!
