My name is Ella and I am 9 years old. I love walking with my mum. But I've never walked this far before. My mum says it'll be really tough, but she also tells me I can do anything I want to if I try hard enough. When we walk together she tells me to aim high, fight hard and anything is possible. I love walking with mum and our dog Jazz. But Jazz is getting too old now for long walks, she's nearly 12. I live in Ingleton which is near Ingleborough. I can see it from my house. The Cave Rescue team are special as they rescue people who are lost or hurt up on the hills. They sometimes help my mum at work too. She's a paramedic. And they bring the patient down to the ambulance. 26 miles is a long way. Especially when you're only 9. But I know my mum will tell me I can do it! She's tough and a little bit crazy and she makes me laugh. I think I'm like her.
