Story
THANK YOU EVERYONE - I ran it in 34 minutes and that's not too bad for a big girl doing hills. Thank you for all your donations - any last minute help for Worldwrite is greatly appreciated.

I've been a supporter and fan of WORLDwrite for many years - the work they do getting young people trained in how to work with cameras and make films is incredible. But more importantly, they teach young people who might not have ever been taken seriously before how to tackle big questions in arts, culture, politics and science.
The lockdown has not only stopped them from being able to train up volunteers, it's also put their home in jeopardy.
I'm a lover, not a runner - but I'm getting my sweat on for Worldwrite and running 5K to help keep them going. I've given £50 for 5K. Can you match me - or raise my offer?

WORLDwrite is an education charity with a difference. It has pioneered the UK's only Citizen TV station and uniquely, provides free film and video training to young people with whom it shoots challenging programmes. Always raising the stakes and shooting shows that question the way the world is, the charity struggles to keep its volunteer centre and studio open. At present, it is run entirely by unpaid volunteers. To continue its amazing work in 2020 it deserves your backing and the team of volunteers doing the Hackney 5k run, hope to raise at least £5000 which will keep the centre open for 50 days. Dig deep or join our team, get sponsored and run with us on May 16th. WORLDwrite needs you and we believe the world needs WORLDwrite. Thank you
