I have decided to take on the challenge in honour of my Nan who, especially over the last couple of months, is going down hill quickly with dementia. Due to covid, today (Monday 29th March) was the first time I have seen my grandparents in over 6 months. It was lovely to see them but I could see a difference in both of them. I especially feel for my grandad as Nan often doesn't recognise him as the man she married. 

I don't think I have ever walked much more than 12 miles in a day so this will be a big challenge.  Pip (my dog) will be keeping my company on my training walks in preparation for the trek on the 11th September.
