Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have never run more than a park run 5km, so this will be a real challenge for me. I have decided to run a half marathon in September for NNRF.

Nottingham Refugee Forum are a fantastic charity that support refugees and asylum seekers in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. Most have fled to the UK after suffering persecution, imprisonment, war or displacement. Most have had to leave families behind and many arrive with poor mental and physical health. NNRF focus on helping them in gaining just outcomes, rebuilding their lives and integrating into society. They provide advice, advocacy, practical support and social and educational activities.
