We fund biomedical research into ME to create a strategy for cure/treatment

Story

Last October my big sister Amelie came home from school with what seemed like a bad cold and nearly eight months later she still isn't strong enough to go back to school.  She had a horrible virus which left her with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (also know as ME).   It has taken away her ability to do simple things (like sitting on a chair or going up stairs) and things she loves like music and going out with friends. I miss the times we used to run around together and really hope for her to be better soon.

I am supporting this charity as they NEED to find a way to help this horrible illness go away for my big sister and anyone else who has it, so that they can go back to their normal life again.

Invest in ME Research is an independent UK charity finding, funding and facilitating a strategy of biomedical research into Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME or ME/CFS).The charity is run by volunteers - patients or parents of children with ME - with no paid staff.Overheads are kept to a minimum and all funds raised to go to promoting education of, and funding for biomedical research into, ME.Our efforts are focused on setting up a UK Centre of Excellence for ME which will provide proper examinations, diagnosis and in time treatment(s)/cure(s).
