Story
In April 2021, I will be participating in the DARE challenge alongside other students at Loughborough University, in order to raise money for Meningitis Research Foundation.
Meningitis and septicaemia are serious, life-threatening diseases. Meningitis affects more than 5 million people worldwide each year, and is the second most infectious killer for children under 5! Both infections can kill you within 12 hours and cause more deaths among children under 5 than malaria, measles, tetanus and AIDS combined.
The vision of the Meningitis Research Foundation is a world free of meningitis and septicaemia, where effective vaccination can protect everyone. In this world, people who do suffer from this disease can get the most effective diagnosis and treatment. Somewhere where the affected and their families can receive the best support and information.
So please, donate today by clicking the donate button, and share the link to your family and friends. Thank you so much!
