Story
As a teacher I know how important it is for a child to feel confident and comfortable in themselves in order for them to learn, make friendships and thrive. When a child loses their hair to cancer or another condition, an already difficult time can be made a little easier by the Little Princess Trust giving them a free, real hair wig to help restore their confidence and sense of identity.
On 17th November I will be having most of my hair cut off (I’ll end up with a very short haircut, which I am a little nervous about)) and will be sending it to the Little Princess Trust to be made into a wig for a child who has lost their own hair.
I am aiming to raise at least £550 as that is the cost to the Little Princess Trust of processing my hair (Including removing a few rogue grey strands), making it into a wig and then having a wig professionally fitted to a child.
