In 2001 I was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer

Since my treatment, which included chemotherapy and 2
operations, I have been cancer free

I was lucky - my cancer was picked up early and my treatment
was successful

Sadly others have not been so fortunate

To mark the 20 years since my diagnosis, and, as a tribute/
remembrance to those not so fortunate, Nigel and I are undertaking the Macmillan
Mighty Hike; this is a Marathon walk, not the chocolate version but the 26 mile
one, from Long Melford to Dedham on the 31^st July

As you may know Macmillan provide support to those, and
their families, diagnosed with cancer; this ranges from emotional and financial
support to providing information about cancer and treatments available
