We provide support and fund vital research to make myeloma history

Story

On May 18th-20th I will be cycling from Edinburgh to the Eagle (Manchester) with my company,All Aboout Food, in order to fundraise for some fantastic charities.

In February I naively signed myself up to three days of bottom torture. The ride itself will be around 250 miles and will be over 3 days. The first step in this was to buy a bike, this is now done and I have been out in the Great British weather training hard ever since.

I will be working hard to get myself up to a fitness level that will get me over the finish line with my amazing colleagues so I can raise money for Myeloma UK.

Myeloma is a cancer of the plasma in bone marrow and it wasn't until 2007 that I had heard of the disease when my Godfather was diagnosed. Since that time Angelo and his amazing wife, Helen, have worked tirelessly to fundraise for the charity with their annual balls, plays and fantastic do-gooding while coping with the day-to-day struggles of living with Myeloma. Now it is 2012 and it is time I got involved too.....

So, if you can possibly give anything, big or small, please support this amazing charity with whatever you can.

Thank you so much xxxx
