Hi everyone!

In less than one month's time I will be running the New York marathon with my sister!

We have both been training since January and are just about on track to be able to complete it, unfortunately with some injuries picked up along the way!

I have been a member of Minds in Motion for a while, this is a community group started at York university. We run a monthly cafe for people with dementia and their carers, and also visit residential and nursing homes running sessions such as reminisence and arts & crafts.

The Alzheimer's society have been very supportive in the setting up and continuation of MIM and I have therefore decided to raise money for them.

I am funding my trip myself so all money donated will go directly to the Alzheimer's society.
