Story

As most of you will know, my mum died in 2008 after battling with ovarian cancer. It was a great shock to all of us when she was diagnosed and, when she lost her battle 18 months later, our life changed forever.

I am lucky enough to have had a wonderful and happy upbringing. I have many, many happy memories of mum, but these can never fill the huge gap left by her death. I'm running this marathon as a tribute to my mum, in the hope that more wonderful women like her will be helped through their troubles with ovarian cancer.

Give whatever you can folks. And thanks.
