Many of you will know that my amazing Mum suffered from Alzheimer's and vascular dementia for the last few years of her life. I wouldn't wish this awful disease on anyone. I like to challenge myself and this one is to try and raise funds to support people suffering now and in the future. My Mum was the most loving and generous person that I have known. I want to tackle this adventure and celebrate her life. Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
