Story
This year I started volunteering for Beat, and when they emailed about the Victoria Park Santa Run in December, I, for some reason that I still can't remember, thought it would be a good idea to sign up.
That said, one very good reason is that it means I get to fundraise for Beat which is the UK's leading eating disorder charity. I am running (hopefully) alongside a team of wonderful volunteers and together, we aim to raise £2200. Your donation could a) help me to reach my target (;)) and most importantly b) help Beat to run its wonderful helplines, online support groups and message boards, train professionals and campaign for better treatment and understanding.
Optimistically, on the day I write this, JustGiving calculates I have 67 days to get into shape. Unfortunately, my maths says it's only 40. So, I have downloaded a comprehensive Buzzfeed training plan (you hear me right) and I'm imagining some kind of a Phoebe Buffay style run come December 3rd.
