Fundraising for Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Late last year unfortunately my dad was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer which has also spread to his lymph nodes just behind his collar bone, He's had tremendous support from family, friends and also charity's so I thought it would be nice to give something back for a change, Roy Castle Foundation is the UK's only lung cancer charity the money we all raise together will hopefully help provide support groups run by lung cancer patients up and down the UK, It has funded numerous research projects across UK universities, and provides a research fellowship at theUniversity of Nottingham. In 2011 it raised a total of £2.3 million towards lung cancer prevention and care The charity's celebrity supporters include Sir Alex Ferguson, Ricky Gervais, Melanie Chisholm, Duncan Bannatyne,Lynda Bellingham, Tricia Penrose, Jenny Frost, Pete Reed, Katherine Grainger, Robert Peston, Robert Powell, Billy Bragg, and Tony Parsons.
