The beautiful Izzy is the little sister of my sons friend Josh. The boys are 9. Little Izzy, last year was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. It has been a life changing diagnosis for her but she is blessed with inspirational parents who through the rigours of this enormous change have guided her through this life changing diagnosis and make sure she lives life to the full- just as we would all want for our children. I am running 26.2 miles throughout October to raise awareness of type 1 diabetes in the hope that research can find a way forward to help families like Izzy’s & to offer support to this amazing family.
