Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Over the past couple of years I have developed a love of cycling and the furthest I have cycled so far is 70 miles with a few bumps along the way.  This year I decided to set myself a challenge and entered the 2018 Prudential Ride London, and so 29th July along with 25000 others, I will be trying to stay on my bike and cycle 100 miles around London. 

Why I am cycling for Macmillan Cancer Support

I am cycling to raise money for a wonderful charity - Macmillan Cancer Support - which improves the lives of people affected by cancer.  1 in 3 people are affected by cancer and I have personally and professionally experienced this always feeling powerless - saying to myself "how can I help them?"  

This disease truly is a modern day epidemic. People think "it won't happen to me" and then they get the shock of their lives when it does - when they find out they or a close friend or relative has some form of cancer - and often it affects those who seem to lead extremely healthy lifestyles.

How you can help

I am asking for your help - not to cycle with me - but to join many others in donating for this important cause, and to be with me in spirit.  Please donate whatever you can - it all helps and is much appreciated.  Fundraising is hugely important to Macmillan. Without people doing events, running marathons, climbing mountains and donating in all the other ways that you can, Macmillan wouldn’t exist.
