My story

My late father-in-law was cared for during his final hours by the  Severn Hospice after a long but very brave battle with cancer.  The care and compassion shown by all of the staff truly was second to none and nothing was too much trouble. 

My challenge

This will be my second marathon and although I vowed never again before even completing my first marathon I cannot wait to take on this challenge for this truly wonderful local charity. 

The charity

Severn Hospice provides specialist care and emotional support for families in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales living with an incurable illness. All our care is provided for free, but it is not without cost - we have to raise £2 for every £3 we spend. It's because you care that we can.
