Christian Aid Week 2021
Campaign by Christian Aid (RCN 1105851, SC039150)
Drought drives people to the brink. Storms tear families apart. Raging waters show no mercy. In Kenya the climate crisis has made weather more extreme, whether long drought or relentless rainstorms. Join us this Christian Aid Week (10th -16th) May!

Story

For some years, my mother has faithfully walked the Octagon Way (in stages) to do her bit for Christian Aid Week. This year, she is unable to do anything. However, she also feels keenly that Hayling churches haven't come together as they normally would either.

This year's Christian Aid Week is dedicated to raising awareness of and funds for those countries and populations that are facing the brunt of climate change.

Olivia and I are walking the whole Octagon Walk (18 miles) on behalf of mum, at some point just outside the official week (probably c.29 May).

Thank you for reading.
