Story
I have taken up a new challenge for 2011 and for me, it's a big one. I have decided to do the Manchester 10k this May in memory of my nanan, one of my heroes, who died from Alzheimer's in 2008.
Those of you who know me know that me and exercise are not the best of friends - at school I loved sport but hated running in any form!
Why do this then I hear you ask? I want to raise as much money as I can for this wonderful charity who were a great source of support for my grandparents and who fund a lot of research into this cruel disease, a disease that will touch many of us in our lifetime.
I relish the challenge. I want to get fit again and push myself to the limit. BRING IT ON.
Please sponsor me, spur me on and change lives.
