Story
I've lost a number of friends in the last few years to Cancer. One of these friends was fortunate enough to have been treated at the Christie in Withington.
As fantastic as the treatment is, it's a long tiring journey from Macclesfield, especially if you're the only driver in the household, or you need to use public transport.
Fortunately, help is on its way!
The Christie charity is aiming to raise £23 million for the construction of a new centre in Macclesfield where Christie patients will be able to receive outstanding cancer care, closer to home.
I'm taking on this challenge to raise money for this really excellent cause.
I've cycled a few similar challenges but never this many miles (310 miles in 30 days has been my maximum), and I'm so grateful to those who have sponsored me before!
This new challenge will take approximately 50 cycling hours and burn around 17,500 kcals- which is around 4.3 kg of cheese, or 116 lettuces.
Please sponsor me as they're a great charity, and they help their patients to live longer, healthier and more comfortable lives.
