We are fighting to make a world where diabetes does no harm

Story

4.8 million people are living with diabetes in the UK, which is why I am running the London Marathon this year in support of Diabetes UK.

Diabetes is a serious, often hidden condition, and without access to crucial information and support, people experience life-changing and potentially fatal complications. Diabetes UK are leading the fight against the UK's biggest and growing health crisis. Money raised will help Diabetes UK continue its amazing and important work campaigning for better care for those living with diabetes, and to prevent the rise of type 2. It will fund the support network that provides helplines, events, local support groups, and more. At the moment there is no cure, but the money raised will go toward the imperative research focussed on understanding the causes, and bringing about treatment and prevention.

Any and every donation is so much appreciated! Thank you and hopefully see you on the big day.
