Hi just to let you all know I'll be running (or at least jogging) the Brentwood half marathon on the 23rd of March. With the support from my amazing Mum, Joanne, we will be raising money for Leukaemia Research and Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation (even though the page will not let me select two charities. The money we raise will be split between the two). On August 7th 2013 I lost my wonderful Aunty to lung cancer, and only 13 days later on the 20th, I also lost my lovely Nan to leukaemia. Both put up such an amazing fight against these awful diseases I feel that I need to show the same strength and do this for them. I know Fran would have loved to have run it herself, as she did many times so I'll do it for her (just maybe not in the same time as she would have run it herself) and my Nan would have been on the finishing line cheering us in. The more money we can raise means that other people may not have to go through the same sadness.
