As you may know, my friends Jess and Tony's baby girl Maeve died shortly before she was born on 16th April 2013.

I was, and am, so sad never to meet Maeve, but she has been so often in my thoughts, and by seeking sponsorhip for this run I can put some of those thoughts into action.

Sands is an organisation which provides valuable support to families in the aftermath of such loss and i would like to support them in memory of Maeve.

Running ten miles is not a usual occurence for me ( though cycling epic distances is another matter!) -i don't think i have ever run that far before, and i don't think i will be volunteering to do it again!

Any donation, no matter how small will help Sands to continue their services.
