Myself & Paul are trying to raise as much money as we can for Diabetes UK, via Paul completing various cycle rides. As you all know, our 3 year old daughter, Scarlett, was diagnosed with diabetes last year. She is managing really well, despite 4 insulin injections a day and multiple daily blood tests. However, we hope that with research diabetes can one day be a disease of the past. By supporting Diabetes UK, we hope to improve not only our child's quality of life, but many others.

Paul has just done the "Cheshire Cat Challenge" on the 29th March - a 66 mile ride through Cheshire (However, he got 'lost' due to allegedly poor signage and ended up doing 80 miles!!!). He plans to do the 'Brian Robinson Challenge' - a 75 mile ride through the Yorkshire Dales on the 26th April; and also hopes to complete other events throughout the Summer, eg. Manchester-Blackpool.

He is doing the activity and I'm doing the fundraising, trying to collect sponsorship!!
