On Saturday 15th of June 2019 I am going to abseil from the top of the Bath Abbey, 49 metres above the city, in order to raise money for the Genesis Trust and the Bath Abbey Footprint Project!

The Footprint Project is something that I have been working alongside throughout the last few months of my studies, as a member of the team designing the internal hoardings which will shortly be installed. This is while the restoration of the unique ledger stone flooring takes place, and the fund raising will allow the Abbey to continue embodying a 'People and Place Fully Alive'.

Half of the donations I raise will go to the Genesis Trust, who support vulnerable and homeless people locally in and around Bath, providing immediate and practical help for people in crisis, as well as offering long term opportunities to improve their lives and prospects.

Both Genesis Trust and Bath Abbey are committed to improving the lives of Bath's residents, and preserving the health and heritage of the city.
