Story
On 28 April 2019, the Eleva Foundation (represented by Eddy Duxbury & Adam Donaldson) will be taking on the London Marathon in aid of UNICEF UK.
Why are we running?
We'll be running the streets of London to help support Unicef UK, whilst raising awareness of their reach, transparency and experience in truly eliciting long term sustainable change.
Unicef is the leading organisation working for children and their rights. With 70 years’ experience in long-term development and humanitarian aid, Unicef ensures more of the world’s children are vaccinated, educated and protected than any other organisation.
Unicef brings unequalled experience and expertise in saving and improving children’s lives. The organisation’s presence in 190 countries enables them to create transformational change and achieve sustainable impact. With a mandate delivered directly by the UN, Unicef has done more to influence laws and policies to help protect children than anyone else, driving results for children at a global scale.
An Innovative Partnership
Eleva Capital has made a long-term commitment of 9.9% of ethical profit to help Unicef reach even more of the world’s most vulnerable children through the Eleva Foundation.
The Eleva Foundation’s innovative philanthropic partnership with Unicef sets a leading example for the financial sector to replicate. The model is enabling Unicef to achieve significant impact for children through a portfolio of development and humanitarian response programmes.

Team EdAm
Eddy (Ed)
Charismatic Northerner, obsessed with all things BBQ, constantly on the lookout for London adventure. Enjoys a decent bottle (s) of wine, long nights and Sunday lie-ins (or so his Tinder bio states).
Making his long-awaited marathon debut.
Adam (Am)
Forged from the Green pastures of Fermanagh in Northern Ireland, his ambitious and industrious attitude has meant he has called London his home for the past 5 years. Can usually be found at evenings and weekends smashing balls around a tennis court.
This will be an impressive 4th marathon.
Thanks a million for your support...
