Story

Well here goes…

I am taking on the massive task of running the London 2023 Marathon for Royal Trinity Hospice in memory of my wonderful Uncle Jack after his heroic battle with cancer.

This is going to be huge for me so I’m really hoping I can get as many donations as possible to carry me over that finish line!

Royal Trinity Hospice provided exceptional care to my Uncle Jack in September 2022 in his last days which was a huge comfort to our family. I want to ensure Trinity can help as many other families as possible in similar situations because everyone deserves the wonderful care they provide during such tough times.

Jack made everyday count. He was a “get things done” man. So here I am following that and hoping to get the marathon done! The training is already tough in the cold, dark weather but I’m giving it my best shot.

I’ll post some updates on here to let you all know how I’m getting on and I would love to see as many of you as possible around the course on Sunday 23rd April but in the meantime your donations would mean the world.

Fingers crossed I hit the target and make it over that finish line!! Pray for me x

From Royal Trinity Hospice:

We believe that every moment matters, so we go above and beyond to help our patients and their families make the most of every moment they have left. Hospice care is as much about living as it is about dying. We want to give our patients the time and support they need to make informed decisions about how they die. We’ll continue to be there after death, for those close to them, providing specialist emotional and practical support, no matter their age. Last year we cared for 2,500 people at the hospice and out in the community.
