In April we will be running the London half marathon to fundraise for The Rocking Horse Charity. This is a charity close to our hearts, as not only is it a local charity, but it’s a charity that Elena’s Dad and Melissa’s Uncle Peter always supported. We will be fundraising for the rocking horse charity in his name.

The rocking horse charity is the official fundraising arm of the Royal Alexandra Children’s hospital in Brighton. They raise money to provide life saving medical equipment and services to help improve the lives of sick children in Sussex. They also support the Special Baby Care Unit in the Princess Royal Hospital in Haywards Heath along with paediatric wards, specialist neonatal units, respite centres and children’s services across Sussex. With no government funding they rely purely on donations. 

They believe that no matter where Children are, they should always be allowed to be children.

As cousins we have decided to put on our trainers and do Peter proud by raising as much money as we can for the Charity. On April 3rd we will be pounding the London Pavements to finish the London Landmark half marathon. 

Any donations will be gratefully received and will help us push through the winter training.
