Thank you for visiting my page. I've chosen to run the 2024 London Landmarks Half Marathon for Sarcoma UK, in memory of my sister, Jo Georgiou.

Sarcoma UK is a national charity that funds vital research, offers support for anyone affected by sarcoma cancer and campaigns for better treatments. Sarcoma is a type of cancer that develops in the bone and soft tissue. It is difficult to diagnose and one of the hardest to treat. 

Jo sadly passed away on 12th Feb 2023 from stage 4 Synovial Sarcoma - a rare and very aggressive cancer. She was only 32 years of age and passed 1.5 years after diagnosis, highlighting that we still need to continue with research to give more people like Jo the chance to live.
