Story

Peer pressure has a lot to answer for!

I've never done a half a marathon before (Lennie has one under her belt), but running fanatic Carmen's gentle persuasion convinced Lennie and I to sign up for the Great Scottish Run Half Marathon.  I agreed to do it on one condition -  that we raised money for charity.

A close friend of mine recently received care from St Andrew's Hospice.  The care, dedication and support they provide is quite inspiring - what a tremendous bunch of people.  So we'd like to raise as much money as we can to help St Andrew's help others.

My friend ran the Glasgow Women's 10K with me last year and although she can't run the half marathon with us in person, I know she'll be cheering the 3 of us on all the way!!

We'd really appreciate your support.  Every penny counts!

Thanks,

Elena :)
