I am doing at least two trekking challenges for Macmillan because the work they do is invaluable and worth more than I can express in words.  This is a big challenge so I hope you will please give generously!  

Macmillan Nurses provide support to people with all types of cancer from diagnosis until the end, which is hopefully a cure!  They also provide free information about cancer, about benefits for people who can no longer work due to their illness and on support in general.  Cancer is a cause very close to my heart - the C word is very scary to hear, but also scary to hear in relation to friends and family.  Macmillan make it just that little bit less scary.
