My Story
I suffered my first panic attack in 2016 and have experienced anxious and intrusive thoughts since then. I have tried to manage this on my own and over the past few years, have turned to Mind for more information and support around anxiety.
The Challenge
I will be doing this challenge with my colleague, friend, and fellow Aquarian, Sophie. Last year, we started stepping away from our desks and going on lunchtime walks which has done wonders for our physical and mental health!
The aim is to walk, run, or jog 56 miles in February to raise money for this wonderful, and much needed, charity.
Mind - The Mental Health Charity
Now more than ever, people struggling from mental health problems need our support. In the UK, 1 in 4 of us will experience a mental health problem this year. Mind needs your help so that they can be there for anyone who needs them, on the phone, in local communities and campaigning for change.
